Last Saturday, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a box packed with Zoe Foods granola and energy bars. Each 3/4 cup serving of Zoe’s granola is all-natural and provides 190 calories, 4.5 grams of fat, 7 grams of fiber, 8 grams of protein, 115% daily value of ALA omega-3s (from ground flaxseed), and 10% daily value of iron. Zoe’s granolas also contain no cholesterol, are low in saturated fat and sodium, and are wheat and dairy free. Hooray!

I was sent 3 flavors of granola to sample -
- Cranberries Currants
- Honey Almond
- Cinnamon Raisin

They were all delicious and left me feeling energized and ready to tackle my to-do list. However, I think the cranberries currants flavor was my favorite. I opened the box for breakfast on Saturday and finished it by breakfast on Monday, hehe.
Nate sampled some of the granola as well and stated “This is really good. I could see myself eating this cereal every day”.

On Sunday afternoon, I was getting ready to go to the gym and needed something to fuel me through my workout. I snacked on a Zoe Foods chocolate peanut butter bliss bar. The bar was comprised of a crispy, chewy peanut butter base covered with chocolate. Upon taking my first bite, I realized that the bar tasted like a Girl Scout Tag-a-long cookie! Yum! This bar contains 200 calories, 8 grams of fat, 8 grams of protein, 5 grams of fiber, and 100% ALA omega-3′s.

Yesterday, before my hot yoga class (room was heated to 105 degrees!), I snacked on the Zoe Foods heavenly apple bar. It was ok, but the chocolate covered flavors are by far my favorite!

Oh thanks for the 411 on Zoe’s Granola and also I don’t think your BF enjoys being photographed lol. Every time I see his pics on the site, he has that “again?” face lol
Hi there! I saw your comments elsewhere and your blog title piqued my interest. Your title combines my two passions – running and eating. (I don’t cook much). I can’t wait to check out the rest of your blog for your recipes and running adventures.
Although I’m not the biggest fan of Zoe’s bars, I LOVE their granolas.
Hi Megan! I’m so excited to hear you and your BF liked the goods, that’s great! I’m impressed they sustained you through your grueling workouts. :) Speaking of which, how did you do in the Boston Marathon? I may have seen you run by – I was one of the spectators lining the streets!

All of those products look so good.
