Dinner and Dessert – April 1

This evening was rainy and cold – the perfect night for soup! I made a grilled cheese using Arnold double-fiber bread, reduced fat monterey jack cheese, and butter. I prefer to use real butter because the long list of ingredients in margarine products just doesn’t appeal to me.  And butter is so delicious! My sandwich was crispy on the outside and very cheesy on the inside. I dipped it in a cup of Amy’s Kitchen organic tomato bisque. Dessert was a sliced banana and A LOT of nutella. I love eating this stuff right out of the jar. When I lived in Florence, I would sometimes get a hot waffle with nutella and whipped cream for an afternoon snack. And often I would have nutella gelato for dessert. Sigh…can I go back???Banana and dessert

  2. mmmm Nutella! remember when you brought me that little snack pack from Italy with the nutella, breadsticks, and iced tea? delicious!
